Medical Monitoring

An initial fitness for duty assessment is mandatory for all newly hired staff. It provides a baseline evaluation of health to determine the ability to meet occupational requirements for the position.

Medical evaluation and certification are required for specific job assignments including work in ODH areas, use of respirators, operation of cranes, forklifts and aerial lift platforms, work in high-noise areas, and work with lasers.

"The ES&H Manual chapter 6800 Appendix T1: Medical Monitoring”, gives more information about the medical monitoring program.
