- Sources may be checked out through the RadCon Operations Group.
- Sources are stored in the Keywatcher system located in the EEL Building. A Sealed Source Users Agreement Form must be read and signed prior to a source being issued. Use the link below to complete the form.
- Bring the form to the RadCon Department for training and source issuance. You must be current with your Radiation Worker I training and have an OSL dosimeter to use a source.
- Rooms and buildings in which sealed sources are used or stored should be kept locked at all times when not occupied, whether or not sources are in use.
- A Sealed Source Tracking Form may be required and posted during use of a source.
- If RadCon does not have a particular source that you are interested in using, you may purchase one through the normal purchase requisition system. Upon arrival at JLAB, a RadCon Operations technician must be notified for receipt of the source and inventoried.
- Any questions about source use, please contact Adam Hartberger at ext. 7463.
