Since 1980, Jefferson Lab has been winning awards, patents and recognition for work done here at the Lab, within the community, with Newport News City schools for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) outreach; nationally and internationally. The staff and Users have come together to make Jefferson Lab a rich environment for discovery and invention.
This collection consists of awards that Jefferson Lab has won as an institution. An effort is being made to gather individual awards won by staff and Users as well.
Presently, patents are located within the Archives, with a growing index of awards. The awards are located throughout the Lab's campus. If there are specific awards that the researcher would like more information on, please ask the Archives staff.
Most articles can be found in chronological order where they are displayed or stored.
