Final Announcement
1997 Gordon Research Conference
QCD in Nuclear Physics

July 27 - August 1, 1997
Salve Regina University
Newport, Rhode Island

The 1997 Gordon Research Conference on QCD in Nuclear Physics will cover a variety of topics in intermediate and high energy physics having to do with the structure of hadrons. Gordon Conferences have an informal atmosphere, with morning and evening sessions and plenty of time to exercise, see the sights or talk physics in the afternoon. We have a new site this year in Newport, Rhode Island, which will appeal to many.

Conference registration is limited to about 130 participants and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND, PLEASE REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS THE REMAINING OPENINGS ARE LIMITED.

Information (including information about applications, the conference site and Newport, Rhode Island) can be found at the conference website:

Please mention the conference to young people in particular -- there will be support for local accomodations (conference fee, accomodation and meals) available for 15 - 20 such attendees.
