Workshop on Studies of Hadron Structure with Photons and Electrons

    November 12, 1998
    Florida International University
    Miami, Florida

A workshop on "Studies of Hadron Structure with Photons and Electrons" will be held on November 12, 1998 at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. This workshop preceeds the 65th Meeting of the Southeastern Section of the APS on November 13-15. The focus of the workshop is examing the structure of hadrons with photons and electrons, with an emphasis on contributions related to Jefferson Lab both now and in the future. Scheduled talks include:

Keith Griffioen - College of William & Mary
"Electron-Nucleon Scattering with Tagged Spectators in Deuterium"

Sebastian Kuhn - Old Dominion University
"Q2-dependence of Polarized Structure Functions - Present Status and Future Experiments"

Brian Raue - Florida International University
"Polarization Observables in the 1H(e,e'K+)lambda0 Reaction"

Joerg Reinhold - Argonne National Laboratory
"Kaon electroproduction on hydrogen and deuterium"

Misak Sargsian - University of Washington
"Color Coherence in Electroproduction of Vector Mesons off Nuclei"

Adam Sarty - Florida State University
"Probing the Nucleon and the Nucleus through eta-Meson Production"

      Adam Szczepaniak - Indiana University
"Physics with the 8+ GeV Photons at CEBAF"

      Henry Weller - Duke University
"A New Gamma-Ray Beam for Nuclear Physics"
