Eleventh International Light-Cone School and Workshop

    New Directions In Quantum Chromodynamics

    FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

The Eleventh International Light-Cone School and Workshop: NEW DIRECTIONS IN QUANTUM CHROMODYNAMICS will be held at the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) and the Center for Theoretical Physics (CTP) of Seoul National University (SNU), Seoul, Korea, on May 26 - June 26.

This meeting will be organized as a joint program of the APCTP International Conference and the Nuclear Summer School and Symposium (NuSS'99). The first three weeks (May 26 - June 18) will be devoted to school lectures and the following one week (June 21-26) will be organized as the workshop which will allow the maximum possible interaction among the participants.

The meeting in Seoul, Korea will facilitate the presentation of not only the new non-perturbative methods specific to the light-cone quantization but also the established treatments of hadron physics and field theories. By the presentation and discussion of the achievements and challenges, the meeting will also strengthen international collaboration. Special effort will be made to get the young researchers into contact. The sessions are organized by topics, with convenors carrying large responsibility:

If you are planning to give a contributed talk at the workshop, please contact the convenors of each session and/or one of the Co-organizers. All the orally presented talks will be published in the Proceedings of this meeting. More informations are available on the web http://www.mpi-hd.mpg.de/ilcac.

We are looking forward for a stimulating and fruitful meeting.
