The Second Conference on Laboratory History will be held April 19-21, 2001 at the Applied Research Center, Room 231/233. There will be an opening reception on Wednesday evening, April 18th, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Residence Facility.

The focus of the conference will address all aspects of laboratory life, including various fields of research and eras from the 18th century to the present. It follows a similar meeting held in 1998 in New York.

Conference attendees are invited to attend a Saturday night dinner at Herman's Harbor House in Newport News for an additional fee of $40. On Sunday, April 22nd, there will be a no-host trip to Colonial Williamsburg. Transportation to and from Jefferson Lab will be provided for both. Please indicate on the registration sheet your interest in attending either of these events.

While at the conference, check out our Open House activities on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tours will be provided throughout the day.
