The information provided here comes from the laboratories themselves. It is in FY97$to correspond to the NSAC charge and includes all overheads. CEBAF's numbers are based on the NSAC and SURA reviews of 1992 and 1994, respectively, adjusted for inflation and to provide 4,000 hours of beam delivery for research in FY97; the MIT/Bates numbers were provided by S. Kowalski (a review of these numbers is planned for March 8- 10); the LEGS numbers were provided by A. Sandorfi. The authors of this white paper have not reviewed these budget figures independently; it is our understanding that such a review will be part of the long range planning process.
