At SLAC, experiments to measure the spin structure of
the neutron with a He target, E154, and the spin structure of the
proton and neutron with polarized H/D targets, E155, are planned to run in
the next several years. This program is expected to be completed during
1996. These experiments are conducted in End Station A and make use of the
newly-developed 50 GeV polarized electron beam. After completion of the
spin structure program, there are no more approved experiments or definite
plans. It appears that End Station A will fall to a lower priority at SLAC
compared with the B-Factory. At the completion of the B-Factory
(approximately 2000), a 50 GeV, polarized electron beam with a 200-
ns pulse width with electrons/pulse and a pulse rate of
120 Hz should be available for experiments.
