Shadowing in deep inelastic scattering: Measurements of the
structure function of complex nuclei in the low range have
demonstrated that shadowing does saturate at the value of the real photon
point, providing a crucial connection between the parton model and the
vector meson dominance picture.
Color transparency: The -dependence of nuclear transparency
was measured using the reaction for up to 7 (GeV/c).
No large increase in the transparency was observed in a region of momentum
transfer where substantial effects were seen in the reaction and
where some models of color transparency predicted such phenomena. In
contrast, an increase in the nuclear transparency was observed in the
reaction at large energy transfers ( GeV) and
modest (GeV/c)].
