CEBAF Pre-Shutdown Safety Meeting for All Staff

In preparation for the CEBAF Six-Month Down scheduled to begin in mid-May, all Jefferson Lab staff are asked to attend one of two safety meetings scheduled on May 3 and 4. Attending the meeting is being required of all staff to ensure that everyone:

  • Understands the scope of work planned for the Down;
  • How that work is being prioritized, scheduled and coordinated;
  • Charge codes;
  • Handling priority requests, such as procurements, during the Down;
  • And a refresher on critical safety procedures.

Meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 3, from 9 - 11:30 a.m. and n Wednesday, May 4, from 1:30 - 4 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the CEBAF Center auditorium. When attending, be sure to have your JLab ID badge with you, enter the auditorium at the first-floor entrance and swipe your badge at the card reader located on the wall inside the auditorium entrance.

To allow for auditorium capacity, attendance for the two sessions is suggested below. If you cannot make the session your division or work center is scheduled for, please attend the other session. Any questions regarding this meeting may be directed to your supervisor.
