Excessing Unused JLab Property Goes Electronic

Old, unneeded or repairable tagged JLab property CANNOT be thrown away.  Just because you don't want something doesn't mean you can throw it away, advised Tom Briggs, JLab Property manager.
Tagged property needs to be turned in through Property. Any equipment, even if it needs to be repaired, should be turned in. Any materials that could be used by another activity or agency, or sold as government excess on an Internet Auction should be turned in.

Property no longer needed at Jefferson Lab is made available to other DOE laboratories, other government agencies or sold on Government Internet Auctions. That money comes back to JLab's general property fund.
