IT Division offers free training for Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows Vista

The JLab IT Division will offer classes on two new software packages: one on the major differences between Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007 and another on the major differences between Windows XP and Windows Vista. The sessions are scheduled for November 28 in the CEBAF Center auditorium. Microsoft Office sessions will take place 9-10:30 a.m. and 2-3:30 p.m. The Windows session will take place 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The Microsoft Office 2007 suite will be available for download and installation by JLab CUE Windows systems in mid-November. Anyone who uses this software frequently is encouraged to attend a training session, since the new version is dramatically different than older versions.

To register for a class, click here and select "Computer Applications" from the Catalog. Then select the class you want and follow the prompts. The classes are offered to all staff, Users and contractors free of charge who use the software, and classes are limited only by auditorium seating space.
