Proofpoint Spam and Virus Protection

The IT division has purchased a version of Proofpoint for Spam protection that will be deployed in place of the Spam protection offered by Office 365. IT is in the process of configuring this new service and should have it ready to be deployed by mid-May. Once it is deployed, Jefferson Lab staff will once again start getting daily Spam Quarantine Reports from this new service.

Staff will also have the ability to login to the Proofpoint service and update their "Block" and "Allow" lists similarly to the previous service.  We will announce its deployment, once it has been fully configured. The IT division thanks you for your patience in dealing with the Office 365 spam issues.
