Quark Place, the road that runs behind (west side) of the three experimental halls, will be closed starting tomorrow (10/27) and will not reopen until next Wednesday (11/1). During this period, several trucks carrying large steel materials to be used in Hall D physics research will be making deliveries and a heavy duty crane will be in operation to unload the materials. To mitigate potential safety hazards, Quark Place will be closed to all normal traffic until the materials have been delivered. We appreciate your cooperation during this process and apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Joan Holloway (x7348) or Manny Nevarez (x7406) in Facilities Management.
