Energy Secretary Steven Chu will deliver the keynote address at Jefferson Lab's 25th Anniversary celebration on Tuesday, September 29.
The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. and will be held under a tent to be located adjacent to CEBAF Center.
Also speaking at the event will be Berthold Schoch, a physicist from the University of Bonn, and Dirk Walecka, a JLab physicist.
In addition to staff and Users, other invited guests include political leaders and local dignitaries, DOE administrators and those individuals who helped found the lab.
You must be seated prior to the start of the program.
Immediately following Chu's keynote address, a picnic-style lunch will be provided to all those attending the anniversary ceremony.
We anticipate a crowd of about 850 people, so plan on arriving early and being patient.
Special parking rules will be in place on the day of the celebration. You can review the rules at this location:
Please note that traffic also will be restricted around CEBAF Center on the day of the celebration to allow for pedestrian traffic.
