News Release: New Technologies to be Featured at Expotech News Conference

A news conference previewing technologies to be featured at the EXPOTECH technology expositions in April will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 30, at the Peninsula Advanced Technology Center (PATC) in Hampton, Va.

Technologies from Peninsula businesses, the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) and NASA Langley Research Center will be demonstrated. An overview of each organization’s involvement in EXPOTECH also will be presented.

EXPOTECH, to be held April 5 through 8, will feature seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations illustrating the diverse technology strengths of the Virginia Peninsula. The goal of the event is to develop new business partnerships in the region and to expedite the transfer of government-developed technology to the private sector.

Three events comprise EXPOTECH: the Technology Fair April 5 and 6 at the Holiday Inn on Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Va., sponsored by the Peninsula Advanced Technology Center; the Technology Opportunities Showcase (TOPS) at NASA Langley in Hampton April 6 through 8; and the CEBAF Technologies Exposition April 5 through 7 at CEBAF in Newport News, Va.
