Jefferson Lab Director Stuart Henderson has been named to the 2021 Hampton Roads Power List by Inside Business

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The third time is charming for Stuart Henderson, director of the U.S. Department of Energy's Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, who has again been named to the 2021 Hampton Roads Power List by Inside Business. According to the Hampton Roads Business Journal, the list salutes the people who are at the heart of the Hampton Roads economy.

“I think the challenges of the last year have demonstrated how science, technology, engineering and math can help us confront and overcome the obstacles to a better life for us all,” said Henderson. “I remain humbled to be included again and am proud of the positive impact our diverse workforce is making in Hampton Roads today and for our future.”

The power list includes 85 people that the publication has deemed the top movers and shakers in the Hampton Roads region, with 10 top and 75 other people deemed powerhouses in making major contributions to the strength of the region. It is Henderson’s third appearance on the list.
