Local teachers demonstrating projects at last year's Teacher Night

In lieu of Teacher Night, Jefferson Lab will offer Virginia teachers free distance-learning tools

Jefferson Lab is committed to the health and well-being of all staff, visitors and the community surrounding the lab. Therefore, with the ongoing need to practice social distancing, the Region II Teacher Night at Jefferson Lab, scheduled for April 1, has been postponed. Activities normally available during Teacher Night will soon be posted on the Science Education website.

In the interim, teachers preparing learning packets for their students working remotely have the option to include a plethora of puzzles, worksheets and games found on the Science Education activities page. These free STEM-based learning activities can be completed from home and help teachers continue their lesson plans for the remainder of the school year.

Please refer back to the science education Teacher Night webpage for the rescheduled event and to access experiments and classroom exercises, which can be used by teachers and parents alike to promote STEM learning and enrichment.

We thank you in advance for your continued interest and look forward to hosting this event later in the year.
