Strangely Charmed: the First JLab-Inspired Beer

  • Strangely Charmed

Introducing Strangely Charmed; a brand new collaboration between Oozlefinch Craft Brewery and Jefferson Lab!

The Oozlefinch team recently visited the lab and were inspired to create a series of beers influenced by the science conducted on lab campus.

Strangely Charmed, the first in the seasonal series, has been described as a single hop, West Coast style hazy IPA with a clean malt bill, and slight bitterness from the 60 minute hop addition. Hopped with German Mandarina Bavaria, this IPA has a fruit forward nose with hints of citrus and a relatively sweet body with a touch of bitterness.

The beer will make its grand debut at the Hall A and Hall C Collaboration reception Wednesday, Jan. 29. On Friday, Jan. 31, Strangely Charmed will launch in the taproom of its creator, Oozlefinch Craft Brewery, in Fort Monroe, VA.

Strangely Charmed will be offered during future lab conferences this winter.
