Trial Use of Engineering Database Available Through Information Resources

Information Resources is managing a trial of an engineering database for the Engineering Division.

Arrangements have been made for a trial of Knovel, a web-based engineering resources application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools. The evaluation/trial is available until Friday, Aug. 27. Knovel may be able to help JLab engineers in their work by saving them time looking for information and delivering more reliable answers to critical technical questions, according to Elois Morgan, Information Resources manager.

Please go to JLab's Knovel trial page at: http://pages.knovel.com/jlab.html to learn how Knovel can help and then use the product during the trial. Upon entering, please register as a trial participant. After registering, individuals will receive an email to activate their new profile.

Information Resources has also arranged for two "Introduction to Knovel" webinar sessions over the next two weeks to help individuals get started using Knovel and to derive optimum benefit from this trial. Please register for the most convenient date and time below.
