January 06 2005 Software meeting

1. Aram is nominated as secretary.

2. Went over and approved last week's minutes.

I am not exactly sure what do I have to do about time-access routines.

3. Dustin has been working on creating EPICS skim files, still has a problem to solve EVENTID bank isn't being filled.

4. Mark volunteered to talk to Ashot about LMS event collection efficiency to make sure this issue is on Ashot's list.

5. Mark raised question about readiness of our experimental setup (DAQ, HyCal...) for another run. Eric said that we would need to install the spare FAST BUS power supply. the one we used to have was returned to the owner.

6. New book keeping database has been created. It's called "book_keeping", currently has only one table. To look at the content from any CUE machine do: promt> mysql -hprimexdb -uprimexuser book_keeping promt> show tables (Dustin).

7. A bug is found in 5x5 clustering algorithm. Some clusters have more than 40 channels hit when 40 is the max limit. Need to look at the algorithm for separation of overlapping clusters.

6. CVS doesn't send out e-mails about updates/changes/additions.

7. Need to add 'Strict Deletion' attribute to the primex DST on cache (Mark).

8. Need to come up with definite/systematic/on-paper "to do" list/plan on getting out the cross-section. (Mark).

9. Aram has to present current issues connected with flux control. (Next software meeting)

10. Dustin has to give a presentation on book_keeping.

11. Eric wants to know how well do we need to align the tagger counters. Aram mentioned that we need to keep in mind that T-counter timing changes with beam current.
