In the Software & Computing Round Table of March, we will discuss “Data Management”. The topic is inspired by the saying: "If you do not manage your data, they will manage you.” Join us on Tuesday, March 1, at 11 a.m. (EST) / 5:00 p.m. (CET), when:

  • Rosie Bolton from the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) will present "SKA Global Data Management Challenges and Prototypes.”
  • Cedric Serfon (BNL) will share experience from using "Rucio at Belle II."
  • John DeStefano (BNL) will talk about "Running Rucio: Design, Deployment, and Maintenance of a Critical Service from a Facilities Perspective.”

Brookhaven National Laboratory, the HEP Software Foundation, and Jefferson Lab are organizing the Software & Computing Round Table to foster the interplay of computing and science. The monthly round table forum aims for knowledge transfer and to encourage common projects within our scientific community.
