Positions in the Jefferson Lab Theory Center involve research in theoretical hadronic and nuclear physics that motivates and supports Jefferson Lab experiments at 12 GeV and beyond.
Jefferson Science Associates (JSA) and Jefferson Lab invite applications for the 2022 JSA/JLab Nathan Isgur Fellowship in Nuclear Theory, which was established in honor of the late Nathan Isgur who served as the Lab’s Chief Scientist from 1990 to 2001. The Fellowship award will be for a three-year period, which may vary under special circumstances. The JSA Initiatives Fund will provide additional support annually up to $10,000 for travel and research support.
The Jefferson Lab Theory Center also expects to have three postdoctoral positions available for the fall of 2022, and invites applications for these positions. These positions are normally for two years, but outstanding performance in research may allow an extension to a third year.
