Media invited to Jefferson Lab prior to April 16 Open House, and also welcome day of event

Media Advisory:

News media representatives wishing to visit the Jefferson Lab in the weeks leading up to the April 16 Open House, may contact JLab Public Affairs Manager Linda Ware or Debbie Magaldi. Allow at least 8 hours notice before desired arrival. Please be aware that access to the accelerator and the experimental halls will be limited until April 14 as experiments are currently running.

News Media representatives are also invited to attend all or any part of the daylong Open House on April 16. Media reps should plan on arriving between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Open House ends at 4 p.m. Contact Ware or Magaldi to request Press Parking Instructions. Please contact one of them by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 14. Please show your press credentials to the security guard at the entrance the day of the event.

Please carry your press credentials on you. Everyone 16 and older is asked to carry a photo I.D., and security guards may perform parcel and vehicle inspections. Jefferson Lab is a basic physics research facility managed and operated for the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science by the Southeastern Universities Research Association, a consortium of 61 universities in the southeastern United States.
