JLab Computing: Critical Windows Patches Scheduled for Tonight
Microsoft has released several critical patches recently for Windows
systems. Due to the nature of these patches, the CNI group has decided
to send them to all Computer Center-managed Windows machines starting
tonight. Please log out of all Windows desktop computers at the end of
your workday, but leave them powered on overnight so that the patches
can be installed. If you encounter problems with your computer
tomorrow morning, reboot your system to see if that resolves the issue
before calling the Helpdesk (x7155) for assistance.
