Restricted Parking at JLab January 10-13

January 10, 2006

Parking will be restricted on and off in the vicinity of the VARC (Bldg. 28) and the Test Lab (Bldg. 58) for the rest of this week (Jan. 10-13) to protect vehicle finishes from possible overspray from roof work being performed on these buildings. Specific lots will be restricted based on wind speed and direction and planned Subcontractor activities.

Details for any given day may be found in the JLab Outage Management System (http://cc.jlab.org/cgi-bin/infrastructure/Outage/OutageView), under the heading Road Closures; look for entries titled "VARC re-roofing", "Test Lab re-roofing". Questions, comments or concerns related to the roofing work should be directed to Ed Winslow (Facilities Management) X7316, winslow@jlab.org.

In addition PAC 29 is going on in CEBAF Center through Jan. 13; please be aware of extra traffic around CEBAF Center. During periods of limited/restricted parking, Security will post Additional or Special Event parking signs for one side of the curbed roads on the backside of CEBAF Center or if weather permits on the overflow lot (volleyball field). Overflow parking will only be allowed on one side of the road. Overflow parking is only permitted on those marked areas. Vehicles parked on or in the grass or on uncurbed roads will be ticketed.
