All new, experienced, and potential inventors affiliated with Jefferson Lab are invited to the Patenting at JLab Seminar, scheduled for today, January 19, at 3 p.m. in the CEBAF Center auditorium.
Bell's telephone, the Post-It Note, the Xerox photocopier . these are all great patents that changed the way we live and work. Do you have a unique invention developed through your work at Jefferson Lab? Come learn how to turn that great idea into an invention disclosure. Gordon Cates, Users Group Chairman, will discuss his experience with the patenting process; Fred Dylla, Chief Technology Officer, will reveal the earmarks of a great idea; and Matt Thomas, SURA Business Development Officer, will demonstrate the new, easy-to-use, web-based invention disclosure system. An open discussion will follow the presentations.
