History Archives Photo of the Week
This week's photo of the week features exhibit items at CEBAF's annual art festival, 1991. Our bonus photo is from the May 2000 art festival, featuring Barbara Adams, wife of the late Greg Adams, and their son Gregory. Young Gregory won a ribbon during the festival for a series of digital photos he took when he was two years old.

A new method has been proposed to extract parton distribution functions (PDFs) from lattice QCD calculations. The method is based on the concept of pseudo-PDFs and their relation to transverse momentum distributions (TMDs). The lattice data demonstrate factorization for TMDs, and, at short distances, follow the scale-evolution equations as required from perturbative QCD.

Hogan Drive Traffic Pattern Changes To Begin Thursday, June 29
The basecoat of asphalt has started on the newly constructed north outbound lanes on Hogan Drive, which are located on the apartment side of the road. Once this basecoat is complete, the contractor will need to initiate a series of “Traffic Pattern Changes” to construct turn lanes into the apartments, apply the finish coat of asphalt and stripe the roads. Weather pending, the contractor plans to implement the first lane change on Thursday, June 29.

The contractor will provide road signage indicating the new traffic patterns, so that you will be able to understand the changes when entering, navigating through and leaving Hogan Drive. Pay attention to these traffic pattern changes and use extreme caution during these final construction activities, which are expected to be complete in early to mid-August.

If you have any questions or concerns about this work, contact Bob Sperlazza at 269-6241.
