We would like to announce a Computational Nuclear Physics meeting to be held July 14th and 15th in Washington DC at the headquarters of SURA (Southeastern Universities Research Association).   The meeting will begin at 8:30am on the 14th, and conclude by 4pm on the 15th.

The Nuclear Physics Long-Range-Planning activities will begin this summer with a series of Town-Hall Meetings.  The purpose of the meeting announced here is to review the objectives and status of High Performance Computing in Nuclear physics, and to determine the human, software and hardware resources required to successfully accomplish the mission of the Nuclear Physics Program.  The intended outcome is the development of a strategy for highlighting the importance of High Performance Computing and identifying the needed resources in the Long Range Planning Process.
