3rd and last bulletin of DIS2011
The "XIX International Workshop on Deep-Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects" (DIS2011) will be hosted by Jefferson Lab and take place in the Marriott at City Center in Newport News (Virginia, USA) from April 11th to 15th, 2011. DIS2011 will prove to be an exciting workshop, with already over 350 registered attendants. Registration will remain open.

For those of you presenting, make sure your final presentation, preferentially in pdf format but ppt formats are o.k., IF fully checked beforehand, has been put on the relevant wiki pages. Contact your working group conveners (or for plenary presentations, Elke Aschenauer - elke@bnl.gov, or Rolf Ent - ent@jlab.org) if there are any questions.
Some further information:
- Registration will open from 5:00-8:00pm in the Workshop venue (The Marriott City Center in Newport News) on Sunday April 10th, with a Welcome Reception running concurrently.
- There are two pre-meetings, a workshop on the QCD Evolution: from Collinear to Non-Collinear Case, April 8 and 9 in the CEBAF Center at Jefferson Lab, and an Electron Ion Collider Advisory Committee meeting on Sunday April 10 in the CEBAF Center at Jefferson Lab. See the workshop web page for more details on both of these.
- Registration will continue on Monday April 11th at 8:00am, with the plenary sessions starting at 9:00am.
- There will be a Networking Reception on Monday April 11th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Rotunda of the Workshop Venue.
- Wednesday afternoon some of you will go on an excursion to Colonial Williamsburg (transportation by buses included), with a maximum of 160 participants. The buses depart from the Marriott at 1:45pm and will leave Colonial Williamsburg by 5:30pm. Those of you going on the JLab Tour will need to be in the Pearl Ballroom Salon I by 2:15pm for a briefing before boarding the JLab buses.
- The Wednesday evening Workshop buffet dinner will take place at 7:00pm in the Grand Ballroom Salon I & II.
- The Workshop group photo will be taken in the Rotunda of the Workshop Venue on Friday April 15th at 1:00pm. Please make sure to attend.

The first day will be devoted to plenary review talks, followed by three days
of parallel sessions and a few remaining plenary talks and all summary talks
the final day. The web page of the Workshop (including an outline of the
draft agenda) can be found under http://conferences.jlab.org/DIS2011/.
The aim of these workshops is to review the progress in the field of DIS and
Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and to lay the roundwork for future experiments.
Most recent results from CERN, HERA, JLab, BNL/RHIC, and FNAL as well as the
relevant theoretical evelopments will be covered. DIS2011 is expected to
bring together about 300 experimentalists and theorists.
DIS2011 remains open for registration and we encourage those of you who are
planning to attend to register and reserve lodging as soon as possible as
deadlines are fast approaching.

(Reduced registration fees are available for students)
- Reduced hotel group rates March 19th, 2011 (5 pm EST)
