Start saving your household batteries, oils, chemicals, and other hazardous wastes for drop off in your community in March!!! Household Chemicals for all Hampton, Newport News, York County and James City County residents are taken at any VIPSA collection event. Call 259-9850, extension 30 for more information. Below are specific dates, times, and locations for cities/counties near Jefferson Lab.

York County residents can bring their household chemicals to 145 Goodwin Neck Road between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
James City County residents can bring their chemicals to Tewning Road between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

On May 10th, 2003 you can bring your computer to the VIPSA center at 145 Goodwin Neck Road in Yorktown for recycling. Call
259-9850 for specific information and requirements for recycling your old computer or to volunteer!
