Liquid helium is continuously supplied to the separator
through a short, vacuum-insulated siphon line
between it and the magnet.
The separator pot is monitored by liquid level LL91113,
and a 0-2000 mbar pressure transducer PI91125.
A metal bellows pump, MP91127,
is used to force the siphon and also removes vapor from the
separator, thus improving the performance of the 1 K refrigerator.
Flow through this pump is measured by a 0-100 slpm flow transducer,
FI91127, and metered by EV91127,
which is controlled by a stepper motor (Section 8).
An optical encoder is used to measure the valve position (# turns).
