Hall B 12 GeV Upgrade Workshop
February 2-3, 2007
Jefferson Lab, Newport News, VA USA
Program: Tracking
The goal of the workshop is two-fold:
- review the conceptual design of the tracking system
- justify design concepts
- identify problem areas
- judge the suitability of the technology
- review work plans
- engineering and design work planned for the next two years
- judge the accuracy of the projected schedules and budgets
- discuss commitments for construction
The format for the conceptual design discussion will be a round-table work session. All participants are expected to have read the CLAS12 tracking design document ahead of time. We will have time devoted to "brain-storming" and questioning the basic concept, as well as a session devoted to identifying unresolved issues. The end result will be a draft of a critical-path chart with milestones identified.
The format for the work plans section will be a number of short talks followed by a group session in which each group will identify its plans and commitments.
