We adopt a chiral nucleon-pion Lagrangian and formulate a Basis Light-Front Quantization approach to solve the resulting light-front Hamiltonian of a nucleon as an eigenvalue problem. We present a calculation of the pion form factor using overlap fermions on 2+1-flavor domain-wall configurations on a $24^3\times 64$ lattice with $a=0.11 \, {\rm{fm}}$ and on a $32^3 \times 64$ lattice with $a=0.143 \, {\rm{fm}}$ generated by the RBC/UKQCD collaboration. The GMp Experiment which ran in Experimental Hall A at Jefferson Lab as one of the 12 GeV commissioning experiments measured the elastic cross section from electron-proton scattering with 2-3% accuarcy in the Q^2 range from 7 to 16 (GeV/c)^2.
