SURA is sponsoring a workshop on the technology and applications of FELs
with UV, X-ray and Gamma radiation. The workshop will include
presentations and discussions on the following topics:
- capabilities at the Duke, Vanderbilt, Brookhaven National Lab and
Jefferson Lab FELs for short wavelength radiation
- basic and applied scientific applications of FELs in the short
wavelength regime
- building connections to the national and international efforts toward
the development of the 4th generation light source
