Driving from Newport News:

64 West to
the 295 bypass to
95 North - 95 North becomes 395 North at the beltway (495) intersection (395 North is also called the shirley highway)
stay on 395 North following signs to D.C.
no turns involved; crossing the 14th street bridge stay in the far right lane.
at the end of the bridge veer right staying on 395 North
cross a small bridge called the case bridge and continue to stay in the right lanes.
both right lanes veer off to the right onto the 12th street (L'Enfant Plaza) exit.
a two lane exit but stay in the left lane (the right goes to the Plaza).
Merge (no choice...keep going straight) onto 12th street as it passes under the mall.
stay on 12th street.

SURA 1200 New York Avenue, NW
at 12th and H is the AAAS bldg., SURA offices on 7th floor Suite 710; need to check-in at security desk. Meeting is taking place on the 2nd floor.

From National Airport, take a cab...or...

take the blue line (station end-point Addison Road) to Metro Center stop...take 12th street exit and walk up 2 blocks to AAAS building (past Hechts department store).

From Dulles - cab or shuttle or rental car and starting from the airport take the toll road to 495 South to 395 North follow instructions above.
