Dr. Hugh E. Montgomery, or Mont, will retire after having served as Director of the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) from August 29, 2008 - April 2, 2017. After stepping down as Director, he transitioned into a role as scientist supporting the Jefferson Lab Directorate. This week's photo was taken during Mont's welcome picnic, September 10, 2008.
