The 32th Annual Hampton University Graduate Studies Program
We are pleased to announce a special mini-workshop for graduate students and post-docs:
Physics Careers at HUGS 2017
Monday, June 12, 2017 12:45 - 6pm
Jefferson Lab, CC F113
Registration deadline: 5th June, 2017
"Important notification: Please send your CV and cover letter directly to Alberto Accardi (accardi@jlab.org), Bipasha Chakraborty (bipasha@jlab.org) and Evan McClellan (randallm@jlab.org) even if you have uploaded them while registering for the workshop. Also, you do not need to send these documents for any job ad to Andrey Tarasov (atarasov@jlab.org)."
The space for the second part (mock interview session) of the event is limited to a total of 36 candidates for four parallel sessions. So, apply for the advertised jobs as soon as possible with your CV. We will try to fit you in your preferred session.
This mini-workshop is part of the HUGS 2017 Summer School in nuclear physics, but open to all interested graduate students and post-docs from the Jefferson Lab community.
The workshop is free (but space is limited and registration is required) and intended to offer a perspective on academic and non-academic careers and includes a hands-on session with practical advice on resume and CV writing.
