The workshop will be held on the campus of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, which is located approximately 12 miles away from Jefferson Lab. Using I-64, Hampton University is about 15 minutes from JLab. The campus is within walking distance to downtown Hampton.

The Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is approximately 25 miles away from Hampton University campus and has direct connections to major U.S. cities. Both Hampton University and JLab are located off Interstate I-64. The cost for a single rider using the airport shuttle service (located outside the luggage checkout) is less than $20 to go to the Radisson hotel located in downtown Hampton.

LOCATION

The workshop will be held on the first floor of Harvey Library in the Atrium Meeting Room. The library is a five floor building located on Tyler street. You can find it at the following URL: http://www.jlab.org/intralab/calendar/hypjlab99/map.jpg Library computers will be available for participants to access the internet or to telnet to other facilities.

Parking is available beside the Harvey Library. Free temporary parking decal can be obtained from the University Police Station. Please mention that you have come to participate in the workshop, give your needed dates, and ask for the closest parking lot to the Library. The location of the Police Station is shown on the map mentioned above. You can also use the Radisson hotel parking garage which is free and walk to the workshop site.
