The mission of the Jefferson Lab Activities Group (JAG) is to enhance employee morale through various social, recreational, and athletic activities.

The JAG is responsible for morale-based activities, and reviewing suggestions from the general laboratory population for these activities. Prior to approval of support or funding, the following program criteria is considered:

Cost/Benefit – How many will benefit from the activity vs. the cost of implementation.

Laboratory priorities.

Scope –Frequency, complexity, and resources required.

Annual funding allocations are determined by the Jefferson Lab Management and subject to approval.
