Sequence of Operations  

The production of a set of high quality calibrated data involves several steps. Each step (with the exception of step 0) involves processing some fraction of the data. Steps which involve writing data to the tape silo are more formal than other steps, and require that the version of the software libraries and production executables used for these steps be tagged under CVS management. A copy of the calibration map database used for these cooking passes should be frozen also. To emphasize the importance of these steps they are called analysis passes. An outline of the processing procedure is shown in Fig. 3.
