Employee Concerns Program
JLab cares about the welfare and productivity of its workforce and has a mechanism for employees (and in many cases anyone who comes in contact with the Lab) to report concerns without fear of retaliation. JLab's Employee Concerns Program (ECP) provides a risk-free way to anonymously and confidentially report activities that may involve unsafe, fraudulent, unethical, or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of JLab's policies, Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.
JLab employees are encouraged to bring forward any concerns they might have to their supervisors. If there are reservations about discussing matters with supervisors or other levels of management, the Employee Concerns Program is a tool to repo rt these issues. JLab guarantees that no retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential breaches of policies or for seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches.
If you have reason to believe that a violation of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct, or any other company policy has occurred or is likely to occur, it is your obligation to report the violation or potential violation to at least one of the following:
- Your Supervisor
- Your Department Head or Associate Director
- The Human Resources Department
- Ethics Officer

Employees of DOE contractors who believe they have been retaliated against for engaging in protected activity have the right to file a complaint of retaliation under the DOE Contractor Whistleblower Protection Program 10 C.F.R. Part 708. 1-800-676-2367.
