It establishes employee performance plans, including critical results and performance indicators. It also allows for greater communication between employees and supervisors at the beginning and during the appraisal period.
With the Appraisal System, managers can set objectives that can be routed to employees for their review and approval.
Importantly, the Appraisal System makes it possible to recognize and reward employees whose performance warrants attention, and it assists employees in improving unacceptable performances.
