The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) takes seriously its responsibility to maintain a safe workplace. The lab is also committed to being a good neighbor and steward of the environment. While the laboratory works diligently to maintain safe operations, in the event of a mishap, the lab has an Emergency Management Plan that addresses planning, preparing, responding, and recovering from an emergency situation. The plan fully incorporates the required elements stated in the Contractor Requirements Document to Department of Energy (DOE) Order 151.1D, Comprehensive Emergency Management System and DOE Order 150.1B, Continuity Programs.
