The CPAD Instrumentation Frontier Workshop 2021 (CPAD2021) is part of an instrumentation workshop series held by the Coordinating Panel for Advanced Detectors of the APS Division of Particles and Fields. The goal of the workshop is to survey the state of detector R&D for particle physics at the energy, intensity, and cosmic frontiers.

At CPAD2021, we will have a dedicated session (indico.fnal.gov/event/46746/timetable/#20210319.detailed) on detector needs for the EIC, on Friday, March 19. Elke Aschenauer will talk about Physics, Accelerator, and Detector Technologies of the EIC. We are planning to have a discussion session after her talk, which should concentrate on complementary R&D developments in NP and how this can be synergized with the efforts in the HEP community and, in particular, with the ongoing Snowmass process.
