MATLAB - Supporting Open Science at Jefferson Lab

Researchers using MATLAB can practice open science to increase the scientific impact of their work. Please join this seminar to learn how MATLAB and related tools can enhance open science practices. Using an example of gravitational astronomy database, this seminar will demonstrate how to access data without coding for publishing reusable and easily reproducible analyses, and demonstrate the use of live scripts as an effective and accessible means for transferring knowledge. The conference will convene at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, in CEBAF Center rm. L102.

Highlights include:

  • Sharing Methods and Outputs.
  • MATLAB with Jupyter.
  • MATLAB and Simulink with Python.
  • Open Science Infrastructure.
  • Supporting Open MATLAB-Based Community Toolboxes.
  • Publishing Reusable and Reproducible Analyses.

Researchers and engineers who are working on projects involving many collaborators, using multiple software and willing to share their results with the broader community are encourage to attend.
