DEIA Presentation: Mental Health in the Workplace

On Tuesday, May 21, at 2 p.m., join us in the CEBAF Center auditorium and Zoom for an engaging event featuring Dr. Kristie Norwood (she/they), a licensed clinical psychologist who currently serves as the Director of the Student Counseling Center at Hampton University. Dr. Norwood has served as the Assistant Chief of Psychology at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she led the post-traumatic stress disorder clinical team, collaborated in the development of the women’s mental health clinic and served as the director of the postdoctoral training program. As the founder of ReMIND U, a nonprofit organization dedicated to decreasing the stigma associated with mental health, Dr. Norwood brings a wealth of experience and passion to lead a valuable discussion on mental health in the workplace.
