At the heart of Jefferson Lab's accelerator are cavities made of niobium. New seven-cell cavities are being installed in the accelerator as the lab prepares to double the energy of the accelerator from 6 billion electron volts (GeV) to 12 GeV.

In the Reading Room, you will find a host of technical and non-technical reports about Jefferson Lab and its operations.

These reports include the lab's performance report card, environmental impact studies and more.

Paper copies of these documents may be read at Jefferson Lab's Public Reading Area, located in CEBAF Center (Building 12), 12000 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA 23606. The reading area is located in  the main lobby and is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Reading Room is operated and maintained for the Department of Energy by Jefferson Lab.
