    Chief Information Officer

    As CIO, Amber Boehnlein is responsible for the lab’s Information Technology Division as well as the lab’s IT systems, including scientific data analysis, high-performance computing, IT infrastructure and cyber security.

    Boehnlein arrived at Jefferson Lab in June 2015 with extensive knowledge, skills and experience from her years at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, a Department of Energy appointment, and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.

  • Stuart Henderson has served as the Director of Jefferson Lab, a world-leader in nuclear physics research, since April 3, 2017. Jefferson Lab features the first large-scale superconducting accelerator that enables the research of more than 1,500 nuclear physicists worldwide. He also serves as a Governor's Distinguished CEBAF Professor at Old Dominion University.

  • Rolf Ent came to Jefferson Lab in 1993 as a Hall C scientist and adjunct professor at Hampton University. Rolf served as experimental group leader of the Nuclear and High-Energy Physics (NuHEP) Center at Hampton University from 1996-2001, and served as Hall C Leader from 2002-2006. He then served as the 12 GeV Upgrade Science lead at Jefferson Lab until 2009, and became associate director for experimental nuclear physics in 2011. He served on the Nuclear Science Advisory Committee from 2006-2008.  Rolf received his Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam in 1989.
